Compatible with: Helix Rack, Helix Floor, Helix LT, Helix Native & Helix HX Stomp
Required: Helix Hardware firmware V2.9 or higher | Helix Native V1.9 or higher
These tones were designed to accommodate a Bass VI / Baritone and a standard 4 string Bass tuned to the same E1 Octave, in the same E Standard tuning. The instruments used to craft these tones, were equipped with Humbuckers, both passive.
Loading the Tones:
Step 1 - Connect and sync your Helix hardware to your computer via the HX Edit app. For Helix Native, open the Helix Native app.
Step 2 - Drag the desired tone from the DAW&FFRTones Folder or the IRLAmp&CabTones Folder into the “PRESETS” menu column on the left side of either HX Edit or Helix Native.
Step 3 - Start playing and writing CRUSHING, GROSS RIFFS!

• good for use “as is” in the DAW, or with a “full range, flat response” rig, or “direct to FOH”.
Wtlnds BVI Fzz
An aggressive yet clear “fuzz” guitar tone. Based around a modern Canadian, high gain 6L6 amp, set to a very low gain level and pushed with a Japanese distortion / fuzz. This fuzz was chosen for it’s strong “HM2” type of character. This is the closest option in getting that Wounded Paw Audio “Blackwolf” sound from the original Wetlands track.
Wtlnds BVI Dstrt
A clearer crushing guitar tone for sludge use. Special attention paid to keeping it clear for good production value, but filthy enough that it can NEVER be djent.
Wtlnds BVI Vrb
A lead / texture tone based around the clearer crushing sludge guitar tone.
Wtlnds BVI Mid
A North American, 6L6 based guitar amp, set with very low gain.
Wtlnds Bass 6x10
That famous, thick, “American Rock” bass sound pushed with a popular grimy, Finnish overdrive. The 6x10 cab gives the amp a warmer, low mid tone. Great for popping the bass out of the mix.
Wtlnds Bass 8x10
The same thick “American Rock” bass sound pushed with a Finnish overdrive. But with a 8x10 cab to darken up the amp and offer a thicker, low mid tone. A better choice for “nestling” the bass into the mix and beefing up the bottom.
IRLAmp&CabTones Folder
• good in the DAW with an IR loader, or IRL with a power amp & cab.
WL AMP BVI Fzz
Same aggressive & clear “fuzz” guitar tone but without a cab to use with a real power amp and cabinet for live use.
WL AMP BVI Dstrt
The same clearer crushing, sludge guitar tone, but without a cab to use with a real power amp and cabinet for live use. Still can NEVER be djent.
WL AMP BVI Vrb
